TABLE MANNERS:

Sharing food with a guest in Tanzania, is something every family does. Tanzanians believe that you haven’t visited unless you’ve eaten. If you aren’t hungry or don’t care for a certain food, just take tiny bites from the communal bowl. Then, say thank you. By doing you will show appreciation to them.

*What does your culture say about table manners?

  1. Sharing is big in Filipino culture. There's often more than 3 different food options on the table. They encourage you to eat as much. If you don't like the food, no offense is taken but the host will most likely find or cook up something that you can eat. When the gathering ends, the host makes sure each guest has a little bag of left overs to take home.
