Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park offers visitors a microcosm of the Tanzanian safari experience. Its shallow, alkaline waters are home to a variety of wildlife including huge flocks of flamingoes. There are two hot springs, Maji Moto Ndogo (little hot water) and Maji Moto Kubwa (big hot water), that have large numbers of flamingo when the river water are low. These springs bubble to the surface at a temperature of 76 degrees Centigrade (169 Fahrenheit).
