KATAVI NATIONAL PARK

The park is located in Mpanda district, Ruvuma region about 40 Km (25 miles) south east of Mpanda town. Katavi noted for its Miombo woodland and is home to buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and zebra, Antelope species includes eland, impala, top roan, and sable.
